Senior Researcher Ilya Chernov developed the system of equations for a new three-stream model of light scattering in the ocean. Created in collaboration with scientists from Italy and France, this model uses satellite data to determine the biogeochemical properties of seawater and has already been successfully tested in the Mediterranean Sea.

A new study by our researchers focuses on the application of quantum methods to optimize quantum computations themselves. In a paper published in a reputable mathematical journal, the authors propose a hybrid approach in which the problem of minimizing swap operations is addressed using a quantum annealing device, achieving results comparable to or better than those of classical methods.
